REASON: To Witness….and to CELEBRATE!
Proposed Budget: will include travel (air fare and car rental), food, and lodging in Mt Baker
David and Jen will be sending an Evite sometime soon to all of us. The current plan is for them to get married at David’s house in Seattle at 11:00am on Saturday morning. After the wedding everyone who wants to will drive up to Mt Baker and spend Saturday night on the mountain. David’s cabin will be full of Jen’s family so we will need to rent some space for ourselves up there. Return from Mt Baker would likely be on Sunday, unless folks want to stay longer. Food budget $40/day/person. Round trip from Chicago on Southwest the lowest fare is $400 but reservations aren’t yet open past April 2017. House and Cabin rentals in the Glacier area average $300/night with minimum stay 2 nights on a weekend plus $80 cleaning; 3 BRMs and 2 Baths can sleep 8. (Trip Advisor, Glacier, WA)
